Made To Order: Christmas Fun For Eunice's Granddaughter!
This is the first bracelet I made for Eunice. She described her 8 year old granddaughter as a very active little girl who likes bicycling, the ocean, horse back riding, her 3 dogs, her favorite colors are purple, pink, teal, yellow, and greens. Her dad is deployed and she and her mother miss him. I designed her bracelet with all of those features in mind. Most of her favorite colors were incorporated. The dog head bead, bone charm and paw print spacer bead represent her 3 dogs, the pink cowboy boot represents her love of riding and her love for the color pink. Next on the bracelet are the beads that represent how she feels about her family, her mother, an "I Love You" bead, and her father. The teal bead and charm that follow represent the color of the ocean and are followed by a dolphin bead, a starfish bead and a flip flop. The there is a lime green bead with delicate flowers on it that represents how she feels while riding her bicycle - a bicycle beads follows the lime green "spring" bead with a butterfly charm to repeat the feeling of the perfect "spring" day for a bicycle ride, followed by a smiley face bead. Instead of a bland "stopper bead", I wire wrapped a sunflower charm onto the end of the bracelet, which adds more childhood charm and serves the same purpose as a "stopper bead" - not allowing any of the beads to slide off while the bracelet is being put on or taken off. It's a beautiful charm bracelet that will always remind her granddaughter of her childhood and of her grandmother's love!
